With a career spanning over 30 years, Scott’s journey began as a dedicated carpenter. Through this experience, he learned that hard work yields remarkable results. His days as a carpenter were filled with crafting beautiful houses, some of which were intricate projects spanning up to nine months. Our Sustainable Story: The Bamboo Charcoal Lifecycle
1. Sustainable Sourcing
We begin with Moso bamboo — a fast‑growing, renewable resource that thrives without pesticides or fertilizers. Responsibly harvested to protect local ecosystems.

2. Natural Carbonization
Bamboo is gently heated in low oxygen to form activated charcoal. This natural process creates millions of pores that trap odors and moisture — no chemicals required.

3. Crafting the Bag
The charcoal is crushed and sealed in breathable linen or jute bags that look beautiful and work hard to purify your air.
